Bloctopus Documentation
Bloctopus (formerly LZero) is reimagining on-chain development by providing an enterprise-grade testnet-as-a-service platform that can create realistic and configurable testnets on-demand.

Background
In their current form, testnets are a substantial bottleneck to the development of decentralised ecosystems. This problem is not limited to decentralised networks but exists with dApps as well.
Developers face several limitations when working with testnets:
- Limited faucet supply
- No mainnet data
- Limited and fragmented support for cross-chain, oracles, and other infra
- Congestion and slow networks
- No privacy if needed
Bloctopus is the first testnets-as-a-service platform. Our technology provides a way to launch highly configurable and scalable testnets on our cloud platform or any custom infrastructure. We can simulate realistic mainnet behaviour, offer built-in debugging and testing tools, customise uptime to save costs and offer unlimited faucet. Core developers can use our technology to spin up test environments at a fraction of the cost and maintenance overhead. In addition, the platform offers testnets-as-a-service to dApps or projects that want to deploy on these blockchains/decentralised networks.
